Faraday
This month in Faraday we have been enjoying our favourite traditional tales. We have continued developing our knowledge of different cultures with our Diwali party and learning about firework safety for bonfire night. We also had dress up day for Children in Need and enjoyed a variety of Pudsey related activities. Our forest school has now finished until January as we focus more on our winter activities.

Darwin
In Darwin this month we have been focusing on animals. We have enjoyed some autumn walks on which we were spotting autumnal animals. We had a focus on Dear Zoo as our book, learning about all the different animals in it, and had a visit from a dog, who showed us her tricks. We really enjoyed Children in Need dress up day and had various Pudsey activities as well as a cake sale to raise money.

Little Einstein
This month in Little Einstein the theme was under the sea. We made lots of fish and under the sea animals using different materials. The children painted fish and used CD’s to give it a shiny affect, they also made jelly fish and whales using yoghurt pots. We had water play and blue rice with animals, for the sensory experience. Our book was rainbow fish and we made our own rainbow fish using different things like bubble wrap, paint and tissue
paper.

Big Einstein
This month in Big Einstein, we looked at weather. We did autumn leaf sticking, and raindrop painting, sand sticking and cotton wool sticking for our Expressive Arts and Design. We also had a dressing up area where we had different types of clothes and encouraged the children to help with dressing. We also went on outings to the park where we looked at the leaves and conkers, collecting them for the room.
